I have always loved sports equipment. I like the odor of a new baseball mitt, the feel of new bat, and the stiffness of a new pair of soccer cleats. The sport doesn't even matter that much. I like outdoor sporting gear, hockey equipment - I have tried every sport I could try, and I like them all. There is nothing nicer than new equipment and a good match between friends. Regarding playing sports, most people fit into one of two categories. Either they are good at sports or they're not attracted to sports. There are few people who are good at sports but not attracted to them, and few people who are interested in sports but not good at them. I bucked the trend. I like sport equipment because I like sports, But I am not better than ordinary at a single one. As a kid,I took martial arts classes, but never got to black belt. I was in small league baseball, but I spent many hours on the bench. It doesn't matter. I like collecting the sports equipment, to watch the games, and perhaps even be lucky enough to play. These days, I don't have as many chances to play sports games as I used to. A lot of my sports equipment is sitting on outdoor shelving in my garage, collecting dust. Nonetheless, I still get to use some of the equipment sports every now and then. The outdoor sports equipment, in particular, was used a lot this summer. The weather has been wonderful, and it has been difficult to stay inside any more than I have to. I did a lot of mountain biking, hiking, and I even got to play a friendly game of soccer. It was nice to pull out the old sports equipment and try it on again. I always have to take a friend with me when I go to the equipment sports store. You understand, my love of sports equipment makes it really hard for me to hold back my wallet. I come up with all types of different reasons for getting improbable gear. For example, even though I don't go jogging, I bought a new sports radio the other day. I almost had to buy a pair of hiking shoes that I saw even though my old ones still work pretty well. The only way to avoid making mistakes with my purchases is bringing along a friend with me when I go shopping.
