The socialization period is the most suitable time for bonding between you and your dog. During a puppy’s socialization stage, it learns by experience and can easily learn to foster relationships with both humans and its fellow dogs. A puppy learns new behaviors during the socialization stage that helps it learn its master’s needs.

Dog training is basically all about understanding the language of your dog and teaching it to understand your own language. Dog training is the perfect blending of your needs and your dog’s needs. Training your dog requires a substantial amount of patience to make it successful.

A dog can send out a variety of signals to its handler and it is up to the handler to receive and interpret those signals properly. Misreading the signals that your dog sends to you during its training can bungle the training up. A dog can signal non-verbally to you that it is unsure, afraid, tired or nervous.

The punishment marker is a dog training language that lets a dog know that it is going to be punished for incorrect behavior exhibited in the course of training. A punishment marker is communicated to your dog during training using words such as ‘No’, ‘leave it’ or ‘out’.

Usually, when a dog is between three months to six months of age, their teeth begin to grow and itch them causing them to chew on things around the house. There are certain things that your dog trainer needs to know if he or she is to train your dog appropriately. If your dog has certain negative traits, tell your dog trainer so that he or she knows how to handle it. Withholding information back from your dog trainer may ruin a successful training for your dog.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All training and no fun can turn your dog into a bored canine. Always mix fun with your dog training sessions to encourage your dog to look forward to them.
