Christmas brings vast satisfaction to me every year, and the best part of the Christmas period is most definitely the atmosphere. With everyone getting into that merry mood, the cold evenings and burning log fires, families spending time together it’s a happy occasion. Personally one of the key parts that makes Christmas is if you have children, as you can keep up that dream of there being a Father Christmas. It’s also a time when children get excited and to be frank the effect rubs off onto elders. There is nothing more pleasing than watching a kid open their gifts on Christmas morning, ripping apart the wrapping paper with a massive smile on their face to see what lies underneath, and even as a mother and an adult I am very much the same. Christmas turns everyone into a kid for that one day. If you are on a budget Christmas doesn’t have to be a taxing and perturbing time if you spend what budget you have logically. Low prices items don’t have to be shabby and nasty; there are a lot of excellent bargains that can be had if you surf online or go into the high streets. For example one of the best ideas is to purchase bottles of wine many shops sell decent standard wines for £4, then buy some presentation bags for them and your done, a low cost present that will go down well and save you getting dear items. If you would rather, homemade goods can go down a storm, so if you are a whizz in the kitchen you could bake cookies, chocolate brownies or mince pies, carefully wrap them up, pop a ribbon on them, and they will look incredible, again saving you a lot of cash. The Christmas holidays are about the notion of giving and most importantly spending worth while time with those you love.
